My Story

Joan S. Meade

Board Certified Behavior Analyst

My journey began over 30 years ago when my daughter was diagnosed with autism and I needed to find and implement quality individualized services. It is my mission to provide quality individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children and families.

Background:

• Masters in Special Education, Daemen College (2007)

• Special Education Teacher (2007-2017)

• ABA Continuing Education courses at The Florida Institute of Technology (2016)

• Practicing as certified BCBA for 3 years

• Professional as well as personal experience in the field of ABA, autism and related disorders.

• Provided services in home, community, clinic and school settings.

• Member of the Association of Professional Behavior Analysts (APBA).

At Behavior Miracles, I am committed to providing children with quality individualized ABA services and parent/caregiver training.

My goal is to increase appropriate replacement behaviors and decrease maladaptive behaviors so each child has the opportunity realize their fullest potential!
